Refund policy
Parts sales have the following warranty
- New parts 12 months
- Reconditioned parts 6 months
- Second hand parts 3 months
We have a 30-day return policy for unwanted items, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused and in its original packaging.
To start a return or have any question regarding returns, you can contact us at neil@vicaryplant.co.uk. If your return is accepted, we'll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will take longer to process.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you received the wrong item(s), so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, or carry a restocking fee. These include but not limited to
- Genuine JCB parts
- Rubber hoses
- Hydraulic hoses
Exchanges
The fastest way to exchange damaged or wrong item(s) is to make a separate purchase for the required item(s). Then return the item(s) you have. Once the returns are accepted, a refund will be issued.
Or return the items for a refund first. Upon receiving and accepting the returns, replacement goods will be sent out once if any price difference is settled.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
We may charge up to 25% restocking fee for unwanted items.
Postage
Your postage will only be refunded if we are at fault for your need to return your item/s. IE we have sent wrong or damaged parts. If you haven't checked with us using your serial number that the parts purchased fit your machine or you no longer require them, you will have to pay return postage.
Returns process
Print out and fill in our returns form to start the process. Download it here. Next send the filled out form with the product you are returning. Send the form inside the packaging. We will then process your return.
